About Raw and Ready


Our only home on this planet is our body. We carry it everywhere we go. In order for it to thrive, move and carry us around it needs to be nourished and cared for.

My mission is to empower you in the process of connecting to what your body needs. Nourishing it is not about eating plain, flavourless “boring” food. It is about enjoying every bite and knowing that your body is getting everything it needs. It is about supporting it in your daily life, your movement practices, and especially supporting it during times of sickness.

Raw and Ready is a state of mind. It is knowing the wisdom of our body and recognizing that we always expand, grow and revolutionize ourselves from within. That means getting down and dirty, putting in the work, but also lovin’ every moment of it. No BS, no rounding corners, while respecting and trusting the process.

 

About Ma'ayan


Graduated from the Nutrition and Food Science program at Toronto Metropolitan University (BASc.) Ma’ayan developed a plethora of scientific understanding of the body and its relationship with food. As a certified yoga teacher and strength and mobility coach, movement is inherent to her daily life and the support she offers her clients.

Ma’ayan has evolved her private practice towards an integrative approach. She created the R&R method, which combines nutrition, yoga, mobility and strength, and consciousness all into one. She strives to empower her clients to a deeper connection with themselves, on all levels- body, mind and soul.

Important Things To Know About Working With Me:

It’s important you find the right practitioner for you. Here are some things about me I believe to be important:

  • I believe food is medicine and my goal is to support your healing first and foremost using food, herbs, supplements and important lifestyle habits. As I work non-dogmatically, I acknowledge the time and place of western medicine and will direct you to further care if need be.

  • I am a trauma informed practitioner. No, I can’t be your mental health practitioner, but I will definitely be able to support you and I feel confident to guide you through anything that may come up for you. My support will be through mindfulness and somatic tools.

  • I am an athlete and consider anyone with goals and ambitions one. If you want to level up your life, your health and/or your athletics I am your coach.

  • You need to want it. I am not here to force you to change. Willingness is a key ingredient in your transformation.

  • Compassion and love lead my practice. While I will give you clear actionables, I will also invite you to explore more tender parts of yourself, and will be there with you throughout the process.
